It makes sense to use a cashback site when you make purchases. You pay the same price as elsewhere but the cashback site send the commission from the retailer to you.

It seems strange to get excited about a utility provider, but thanks to the cost, superb app and attitude towards both championing the consumer and green energy, I am.

I have no hesitation in recommending them. I use the Ohme charger which means Octopus can control the exact times my vehicle charges, when there is little demand on the grid and the charging is all wind powered.

I also love getting emails from them giving me notice of when the weather is likely to bring a surplus of green energy, which Octopus can give away for free.
